Lets Sing!

Dear Students

In this entry, we are going to sing and do mime about this song. Try to learn much as possible and practice in your home. In a random time of the class, we are going to sing, so be prepared!!

Jump up! Turn around!
Put your hands in the air!
Jump up! Turn around!
It doesn’t matter what you wear.
You can bend your waist, touch your toes.
Wiggle your hips, and scrunch your nose, and
Jump up! Turn Around!
Put your hands in the air!
I’ve got hands I can clap.
Clap, clap, clap.
I’ve got feet that stomp.
Stomp, stomp, stomp.
I’ve got arms that stretch.
Oh yeah!
On one leg I can hop, oh!
I’ve got a head I can shake.
Shake, shake, shake.
I’ve got shoulders that can shrug.
Shrug, shrug, shrug.
I’ve got wiggle, jiggle knees.
Wiggle, jiggle knees!
I can curl up like a bug, oh!
You need to exercise 60 minutes a day
Fitness activities, games or play
Aerobics should make up most of the hour
Moderate to vigorous will empower
Cardio, cardio, cardio march
Move, move, pump your heart
March, march, cardio march
Cardio, cardio, cardio march

Sports That I Like, Sports That I Don't Like!

Dear students

In this entry we are going to watch a video with the name of different sports which usually are practised outdoors. Also we are going to create sentences using like or don't like/dislike depending of the situation.

  • We use Like when an action, thing, fruit, vegetable or something else is very attractive for us and we want to eat it, play with it, use it or do something with it.

Ex: I like to eat sandwiches

  • We use Don't Like/Dislike when when an action, thing, fruit, vegetable or something else is not attractive for us and we do not want to eat it, play with it, use it or do something with it.

Ex: I don't like to eat french fries

I dislike to eat french fries

*In this case, we use don't like or dislike as the same structure, with the same meaning.

Homework Activity

1.- First, play the video and write down the different kind of sports that will appear on it.

2.- Then, create sentences using the name of the sports and like or don't like depending of the situation.

                                                                        Good Luck!!

Estimados estudiantes

En esta entrada vamos a ver un video con el nombre de los diferentes deportes que son practicados al aire libre. Tambien vamos a crear oraciones utilizando like o don't like/dislike dependiendo de la situacion.

  • Utilizamos Like cuando una accion, cosa, fruta, vegetal o algo mas es muy atractivo para nosotros y queremos comerlo, jugar con el, usarlo o hacer algo mas con el.

Ex: I like to eat sandwiches

  • Utilizamos Don't Like/Dislike cuando una accion, cosa, fruta, vegetal o algo mas no es atractivo para nosotros y no queremos comerlo, jugar con el, usarlo o hacer algo mas con el.

Ex: I don't like to eat french fries

I dislike to eat french fries

*En este caso, usamos don't like o dislike como la misma estructura, con el mismo significado

Actividad en Casa
